We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract across Kentucky. In this role, you will provide urgent and emergent care, stabilize patients, and coordinate treatment in fast-paced emergency settings.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients based on acuity and clinical need.

• Provide emergency interventions, medication administration, wound care, and patient stabilization.

• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and neurological status.

• Collaborate with ER physicians and clinical care teams on treatment plans.

• Initiate and maintain IV access, oxygen therapy, and emergency protocols.

• Deliver patient education when appropriate and document care in the facility’s EMR.

• Maintain compliance with emergency, medication, and patient-safety standards.

Requirements:

• Active Kentucky Board of Nursing License in good standing.

• ER or critical care experience required (minimum 2 years recommended for traveler roles).

• Strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, communication, and documentation skills.

• Ability to adapt to new environments and workflows.

• Flexibility for day/night rotations, weekends, and holiday coverage depending on assignment needs.

• Certifications recommended: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, or TCRN depending on facility requirement.

Pay & Contract Details (Realistic Market Data):

• Estimated Pay Range: $42.00 – $58.00/hour

• Weekly Gross Estimate (40 hrs): $1,680 – $2,320/week

• OT Rate (if applicable): $63.00 – $87.00/hour

• 13-week contract, W-2 with benefit and stipend options depending on assignment structure.
