General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Rural practice occupational therapy – hospital; long-term care; out-patient, home health
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
EPIC – One Chart; Matrix; EPIC Home Health
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Any. New grads welcome.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
COTA. Minnesota and South Dakota.
Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm. No call. No weekends. Department staffed with PT, OT, ST.
Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
Bulk of caseload is in hospital setting.
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
Critical Access Hospital - <20 bed.
Dress Code:
Business casual or gray scrubs (ancillary services).

Additional Comments:
Rural healthcare setting – Critical Access Hospital – inpatient, outpatient, long-term care settings.
Typical day includes inpatient (acute & swingbed) and outpatient (variety – orthopedic). 40 bed LTC attached. Intermittent coverage in similar facility <25 miles in Clear Lake SD.
Southwest Minnesota – near SD border. (Ideal candidate would be MN & SD licensed, however, we can make it work with MN only)
Great location for outdoor activities.
Dynamic therapy team with great teamwork culture.
We have housing available across the street from the hospital.
Canby, MN – small town Minnesota – grocery store and several amenities, 24 hour wellness center, movie theatre.
Within 45 minutes of 3 larger towns – Marshall MN, Brookings SD & Watertown SD.
