Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Trauma Registrar with experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EPIC EMR systems and NTRACs Trauma Registry, ensuring accurate and timely trauma data collection, abstraction, and reporting to support quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Abstract and enter trauma patient data into the NTRACs Trauma Registry accurately and efficiently.

Utilize EPIC EMR to extract clinical information, verify documentation, and ensure completeness of trauma records.

Monitor and validate data quality, ensuring compliance with Level 1 Trauma Center standards and national reporting guidelines.

Collaborate remotely with trauma program staff, quality improvement teams, and clinicians to resolve data discrepancies.

Generate reports and provide analytics support for trauma program performance evaluation and regulatory compliance.

Stay current on trauma registry updates, coding standards, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Proficient with EPIC EMR and NTRACs Trauma Registry.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage remote workflows.

Familiarity with trauma registry coding, compliance, and data quality standards.

Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
Preferred:

Certification as a Certified Trauma Registrar (CTR) or willingness to obtain.

Experience generating trauma performance improvement reports.
Pay Rate
$48.11 - $51.31/hour
