Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitative support under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The COTA will assist in implementing treatment plans to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and functional independence.
Responsibilities:

Carry out treatment programs and activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist.

Instruct and assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and daily living tasks.

Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising therapist.

Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.

Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques.

Promote patient safety, comfort, and participation during therapy sessions.

Collaborate with therapists and healthcare staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:

Current certification or licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Minimum of one year of experience in occupational therapy or rehabilitation preferred.

Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, adaptive equipment, and functional training.

Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a therapy team.
Pay Rate
$42.80 - $47.68/hour
