Required Certifications BLS, ACLS, ARRT (Will not accept RCIS in lieu of ARRT)
Common diagnoses/Types of patients Right and left cardiac catheterization, diagnostic and interventional, STEMI, EP, pacers, ICD, Ablations, structural heart, TAVR, watchman and mitral clip.
Job Duties Panning, running the table, scrub
Experience or 'Must have' skills STEMI receiving center experience, highly prefer structural heart. Cover both EP and Cath lab.
EMR/Equipment Cerner, (Surginet), Sensis Vibe Hemodynamic Monitoring System, Siemens C Arm Systems
Cardiologist hours/on call On call after hours as well as interventional cardiologist. No EP on call.
Manager/Charge Nurse Yes- and coordinator available. Staff development nurse (orientation/educator)
Cath Lab Techs Rad Techs
Shifts & Scheduling 4 10's - 6:45- 5:15- self scheduling allowed but not finalized until manager balances.
Weeknight/Call Requirement 1 weeknight per week. (2 nurses and a tech on call)
Weekend/Call Requirement Friday night to Monday AM.
Holiday/Call Requirement Expected to help fill in
Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement? Yes
What is call response time? Must be in lab ready in 30 minutes. Stemi response time is tracked.
Floating Requirements n/a
Scrub Color/Dress Code Provided
Unit/Department specific orientation up to 1week
Additional Notes Friendly, Flexible, team player. Busy and fast paced unit.
